![]() Afflicted heroes will suffer severe stat penalties, and have a chance to be able to act on their own at the start of their turn. So what kind of Quirks and Trinkets should I stack on him? Bleed chance? (But there aren't that many good ones, if I recall correctly.) I am kind of stumped. An Affliction is one of the states a hero can enter upon reaching 100 stress, the other being a Virtue. The Flagellant is mainly a damage dealer. An interesting hero, equipped with multiple extremely powerful attacks and unique Death's Door and health-related passive abilities. More specifically, since his base damage is so low - and his damage mainly comes from bleeds - extra damage percentage won't boost his damage much and since he has many ways to come back from low health, survivability isn't as big a concern with him. The Flagellant is a new character class introduced by the Crimson Court DLC. But the problem is that stacking neither damage nor survivability is as useful for the Flagellant, because he is an odd damage dealer. ![]() But the rest? In addition to speed, normally I would stack mainly damage Quirks and Trinkets - and some "survivability" stuff - on a damage dealer. I suppose speed Quirks and Trinkets are good on any character. (Except that I rarely get to use Exsanguinate or Redeem, since I rarely go below 50 percent.) However, I have no idea what to do in terms of Quirks and Trinkets. ![]() I took the suggestions most folks offered here on Skills - Punish, Exsanguinate, Redeem, and Suffer - and that is working well. Hero trinkets focus on specific archetypes and usually carry a downside that represents the burden that the trinket places on the hero.I have a really hard time trying to figure out how to kit out this guy. Published Needing to heal and babysit tanks can ruin runs in Darkest Dungeon 2 and this is why the automatic healing from the Flagellant is so popular. Can be found randomly during the journey. ![]()
